Allie

We took Allie to the vet recently and he told us that she has lost some weight in the past year. Not a lot, but enough to be noted on her chart.

Poor Allie. Pretty much since we got her, we’ve been making fun of her because she has a sweet, kitten face but a rather…er…large rear end. When one of the American Idol contestants sang “Big Bottom Girls” last season, I thought that the song could have been written for our cat.

Still, after only four years of living with us, Allie seems to be coming out of her shell. Kenny and I have company on a pretty regular basis and Allie has been seen sneaking into the living room when actual people were in there. So far, she’s only gotten as far as the recliner, but still it’s progress.
