Paddy

I’m reading the Stephanie Plum series right now. Stephanie has a hamster named Rex who sleeps in a soup can.

Our Paddy is like that. She’s too large to get into soup cans, of course, but she loves boxes or suitcases. You can’t put any kind of packaging down on the floor before Paddy is into it.

Sometimes this is fun, as we like to pick her up and carry her around so that she ends up in a different place than she started from. But sometimes, like when we’re getting ready to go somewhere, Paddy decides that our box or bag is really *hers* and we have to fight over ownership.

Kenny thinks that she has some Nermal in her. If she’s not careful, she may wind up shipped to Abu Dabi.
