Jack Webb

If you were born after 1980 or so you probably don’t know Jack Webb. Even if you were born before that, but weren’t into TV Cop dramas you might still not know him. You probably do know his most famous quote though… “Just the facts, ma’am”. Jack Webb played Sargent Joe Friday on the TV series Dragnet. Friday was a “law and order man” and Jack Webb was pretty much the same way from what I have read. He took his position seriously wouldn’t participate in activities that might possibly damage that reputation he had build as Joe Friday. Stephanie and I just finished watching the Dragnet episodes on NBC’s site HULU recently and led to some curiosity about him. If you’ve never watched the show you won’t appreciate the video below:
